Lecture to WDO.

I lectured newly appointed Women Development Officers (WDO)
at the Women Training Centre, Narayan Bhawan, Lalitpur. There were around 30
officers. A few were from the old batch, and most were newcomers.
My lecture centered on the following topics:
a.
Women do not get justice.
b.
The rights, needs, and interests of victims are
important.
c.
Respond quickly to their calls.
d.
Informed consent must be taken.
e.
Victims are not informed about the progress of
their cases.
f.
Do not discriminate based on race, caste, sex, or
status.
g.
You must organize yourself, your work, and your workplace.
h.
Take safety and security measures to protect
yourself.
i.
Know your partners and work with them.
j.
Learn three skills: Conceptual, Human, and
Technical
k.
Important tips: Concepts: Imagination, vision, dream,
concept
l.
Competence: Professionalism, Competency,
Collaboration, and Cooperation
m.
Connections, Stamina, and Perseverance
