Nepal prosperity

We
had been to Butwal for Dasain. I was enthralled to see the landscape of rural
Nepal thriving with harvest of rice. It was so luscious to see the happiness of
thousands of peasants working in the fields. I also noticed several small scale
entrepreneurship being started at the local level in rural areas. I was wondering
that these movements will certainly take the country towards 'Prosperous Nepal'
despite the political instability.
The other things that I was happy to make note of were the good news pouring in from different parts of the country. Some of them in the daily newspapers were:
-Far west sees declines in animal sacrifice
-Anti-gambling drive in Bajura VDCs
-Dhankuta witnesses increase in investment
-By passing tradition, single women receive tika
-Rural peace committee in 24 VDCs in Bhojpur
-Indians to demolish pond encroaching Nepali territory
-IT vocational course reaches Lamjung district
-Sesh Ghale, a Nepali born Australian, is a millionaire
-Big mart stores coming up in Shanti Nagar, Sinamangal
-Saurahama 10 naya paryatak hotel khuldai
